Family and friends honor                      ‘Atlantic City icon' Sonny Lea

Twenty-five years ago, Lea helped found high school boys basketball showcase Battle by the Bay, said former Atlantic City Recreation Director Wilbur Banks. Lea dedicated much of his time to selling tickets for the games, Banks said.  Since its inception, the program has raised more than $150,000 in scholarships for Atlantic City students, he said. “Scholarship, youth and basketball,” Banks said. “Sonny, the work you have done is speaking for you.”  Click Here for full article
